At the MTC Annual Pasta Dinner held at Columbia Club on Wordsworth St. in Portland on Friday, 14 Nov 2008, the Maine Track Club elected nearly a total new slate of officers for 2009-2010 . Past MTC President, Mike Reali, and his crew prepared their famous spaghetti and meatball dinner. Mark Grandonico gave a brief overview of income tax issues that non-profits are required to file. He also talked about a few more new racing events which will be held in 2009. President Grandonico introduced the new board members, committee chairs, and officers elect as well as thanking the people who did not run for election.
A video of some of Presidents Grandonico’s remarks can be seen and heard below.

The photos courtesy of Don Penta & the Maine Track Club have been in storage since 2002. Â Yes, one person taking photos, but Mr. Penta was using at least two Nikon cameras with rolls of film. He would use both hoping he could have time to reload the cameras change batteries etc. Needless to say we sometimes missed MTC members in the old days. We also got a few photos of runners who were not MTC members as well. Please stand by.
