The 2nd Annual Run for Kids 5k was held today @ Brunswick, Maine. Both the men’s & women’s 5k race were won by pre-teen runners. Jackie Chalmers won it for the men 18:50.51 while Ida Waterman finished 6th (1st female) after 5th place finishers Eli Chalmers who was 5th place with a time of 22:06. Perhaps many of the runners were related? The 1st senior runner (age 50) was Steve Dubois of Lisbon Falls, Maine. Steve finished 4th overall.
