Race course is a flat and fast, loop along the ocean, starting at the corner of Seaside Avenue and Route 9 and ending at Huot’s Restaurant in Camp Ellis.
The Race was started in 1978 and was selected in 2016 as a legacy race by the Maine Running Hall of Fame. Proceeds go to the American Lung Association of New England/Trek Across Maine, the Tina M. Turcotte Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Shawnee Peak Adaptive Ski Program.
