Rock Green at the 10.5-mile mark of the Bar Harbor 13.1 Miler, Sept. 22, 1979. Bruce Freme ran 1:09:06 for the win, followed by Ralph Thomas, Ralph Fletcher, O. J. Logue, and Rick Krause. Rock finished 11th in a time of 1:15:24. Robin Emery was first woman, in 1:28:52, with Carol Roy (now Weeks) 2nd in 1:32:05.
