(We have been ask to tell you about this race. Don Penta & David Colby Young will not be there. If we can find some king photojournalist to sent a report with photos after the event, we will share it with you as soon as we can.)
Enjoy scenic views of Skowhegan as our route takes you through Coburn Park and across Skowhegan’s walking bridge!
$10.00 registration fee. Race registration can be taken care of anytime during the weekend at the River Fest table under the tent. You can also pre-register by calling the Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Department at 474-6901.

The 35th Annual Tour du Lac 10 Mile Road Race was held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 in Bucksport. Race Director is Chris Jones – for any additional information, please contact him via email at christopher.jones@bucksportschools.com Attached are the 35th Tour du lac 2010 results!
Louie Luchini of Ellsworth was the overall winner finishing in a time of 51:46. Kristine Guaraldo of South Portland won for the second consecutive year for the women finishing in a time of 65:25. 65 Runners from Tampa, Florida to Perry, Maine and Mapleton, Maine came. Larry Deans became the second runner to complete more than 20 Tour du Lacs!

Everyone talks about how far and how fast they are going BEFORE the group sets out. You will be welcomed as all new folks are. Bathrooms are available in the MRC and the Little Dog Cafe. “LIGHT TO LIGHT” WALK/RUN
On Sunday, June 20, 2010
This 7.5 mile event will help celebrate
MAINE LIGHTHOUSE WEEK
and starts at the
Owls Head Lighthouse parking lot. Walkers begin at 7:30 am and runners at 8:00 a.m.
Both will complete the course at the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse Park on the
Samoset Road in Rockland.
