· So, I got to volunteer at the South Portland XC meet, which gave me the opportunity to see Kyle and Grace run in the new format of waves. Super pumped the Kyle finished 7th overall and caught the first wave of runners, can’t wait to see how he’s does rest of the season. Grace finished 4th overall in her girls race super awesome, XC rules. @ South Portland, Maine

Congratulations to our girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams on first-place finishes yesterday at the first meet of the season at Ellsworth High School. Way to go, Eagles!
Our girls scored 16 points. EHS took second place with 42 points. Bucksport did not have enough runners to earn team points.
The top three finishes for our girls were Thea Crowley, No. 1, in 18:25.73; Grace Broughton, No. 2, in 20:50.59; and Josie Czuj, No. 4, in 20:55.23.
Our boys scored 36 points. Number two EHS scored 42. Bucksport took third place with 48.
The top three finishes for our boys were Clark Morrison, No. 2, in 16:37.86; Sol Lorio, No. 5, in 17:13.44; and Andrew Hipsky, No. 6, in 17:21.93.
