The origins of the race are said to have been in a challenge in Doc’s Tavern leading to the first race in 1981 and was held yearly through 2000 when it was suspended for a year in 2001. The race was originally the Doc’s Tavern Three Miler Road Race.

In 2002 the race returned as Doc’s Tiger 3-Miler Road Race, benefiting the Biddeford High School Girls and Boys Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Teams.

Due to the high winds/heavy rain being forecast and the possibility of downed power lines and trees, and on the recommendation of Public Safety officials, Mary’s Walk and Kerrymen Pub 5K is postponed. Safety of our walkers and runners is our top priority.

The new date for Mary’s Walk and Kerrymen Pub 5K is March 28th, 2010.
