Flashback Thursday! Thanks Hank Pfeifle for posting this race pic from a Kerryman’s Pub Road Race long ago! Great pic! I never realized how deep the fields were back then with so many fast and talented runners. In this race alone, it was awesome to be amongst awesome runners such as Hank Pieifle, Ken Flanders, Danny Paul, Kim Wetlaufer, Ken Lateaurno, Henri Bouchard, Andy Kimball, and Stu Hogan and others. Not sure why I wore red and green as the race was well past Christmas season. lol!

Some great racing that day at the 1982 Portland Boy’s Club Race too with the duel in the sun between Hank Pfeifle and defending champ Ken Flanders (along with the rest of us running in their 23 minute plus 5 mile wake!).
