The 2nd annual Torch Ride 5k to raise money for Maine Special Olympics took place in Waldoboro Maine on Saturday, June 13th, registration started at 8am with the run at 9 a.m. at the Waldoboro Irving Station on Route one.
Special guest Maine Game Warden Kris Maccabe of Northwoods Law! Kris ran in the 5K came in 3rd and was available for pictures and autographs.
This years’ event coincided with Cop-on-Top, a fundraiser where Chief of Police William Labombarde stayed on the roof of Irving until goal funds were raised.
