Maine Running Photos Team will be taking the photos of the Maine Marathon to be posted to Run Signup
Volunteers need to take photos of participants at various points on the course and upload photos to RunSignUp after the race.
We are looking for people with cameras but if you are skilled with a cellphone, you can be part of the collection.
Can a person without a PC upload photos directly to runsignup
Yes — you don’t need a PC to upload photos to RunSignup. You can do it directly from a smartphone or tablet, as long as you have internet access and your photos meet the site’s requirements.
RunSignup offers several upload options that work on mobile devices:
After submitting your results or activity Once you log your results, you’ll see a confirmation page with a “Submit Your Photos” option. You can then browse your phone’s gallery or take a new photo to upload.
From the race page Go to the race’s page on RunSignup, tap the Photos tab, search for your registration (by name or bib number), and select Upload Images.
From your individual result page Find your result via the Results tab, open it, tap Photos, and upload directly from your device.
Photo requirements:
File size under 5 MB for best results
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, GIF
You must be 18 or older to upload
So if you’ve got a phone or tablet, you’re good to go — no desktop needed.
If you’d like, I can walk you through the exact steps for uploading from a phone so it’s quick and smooth on race day. Would you like me to do that?
