Camden Trail Fest Race
RaceME was at the Camden Trail Fest Race series yesterday at the Snow Bowl in Camden. There was something for everyone with a 3km trail run, a 5km trail, a 10km mountain bike race, and a 15km team or solo duathlon (5km run+10km bike). This dirt extravaganza had something for everyone with many kid competitors as well as adults. The FEST, co-produced by the Trail Runners of Midcoast Maine (www.trailrunnersofmidcoastmaine.com) and the Midcoast Maine NEMBA (www.nemba.org/chapters/mcnemba), featured food vendors, a live band, gear tents, guided bike trail tours, bike demos from Side Country Sports (www.sidecountrysports.com), and a screening of the Maine Outdoor Film Festival on Friday night. The event was also part of the Baxter Outdoors 2017 New England Trail Series presented by Baxter Brewing who also supplied beer and soft drinks as prizes.
