Owl Dalers gain NAIA Nationals

This was the first time UMPI sent a full team the cross country nationals. You have to
qualify by winning your district championship. They did it again the next year along with the girls team.

The Re-Birth of a Maine Marathon & a Casco Bay Half Marathon is added
The Casco Bay Marathon was held for ten years but ended in 1987. The Maine Central Striders host the Pine Tree Marathon in Waterville for three years 1989 to 1991. They knew that 1991 would be their last Pine Tree Marathon. Runners were looking for some other club to host a Maine Marathon. Below is are news reports & a lot of work being done.
