Marie Strouse is Named Runner of the Year 2009

The Aroostook Musterds of Maine names Marie Strouse of  Caribou & Orono, Maine, Aroostook’s Runner of the Year. Marie Strouse, formerly of Ohio, has won a number of road race in Maine from Augusta to Caribou, Maine. She has run faster that most runners and all the photojournalist put together. We have not been able to get a running image of her this year. We still don’t have any pictures of Marie actually running here in Maine, but at least we can give you a recent, running related photo.

Marie states: “I am humbled to be selected as Aroostook’s Runner of the Year. I’ve attached a picture of me with the mammoth trophy! ” She also states. “I hope to represent the Aroostook Musterds and the state of Maine well in the Manchester Marathon this weekend.”
