Eastern States 20 Mile Advisory: Important Information for 2010
Dear Runners,
Due to the closing of the Seabrook Bridge walkway by the New Hampshire State Department of Transportation, as part of the overall bridge reconstruction, there will be a course change for this year’s races. As there is no way to cross the bridge on foot, we will be finishing this year’s races in Hampton Beach, both the Eastern States 20 Mile and the Run for the Border Half Marathon. The races WILL remain at their full distances, sanctioned by USA Track and Field. The additional mileage will come from a new inland loop in North Hampton and Hampton.
Don Penta was not at the race in 2011. David Colby Young was in the race & took photos before & after. Mr Irish, a student at Bonny Eagle High School, helped with the video.
