27 June 2021 The Fall Election for Auburn, Maine
The event: Who is running & who is not for the Auburn CC?
Just in case you missed this, David Colby Young sent this message to Lewiston Sun Journal on 27 June 2021. It should have been sent to FB as well. Just in case one of the reasons not more people are yet to sign up to run &/or filed their papers is because they are waiting to see who might also be running, David Colby Young will post this also to fb
The short of it all is that there has been a lot of changes in my life the last two years. I do plan to retire some time next year but that does not free time up now. I have talked his over with my family to see what a run for office would look like and if elected what would I have to give up to make it work.
I have added more things to my day & only have deleted a few. One does not serve in public office unless he/she has support from family members & coworkers. If I ask for advice I should act on it.Therefore you will not see my name on the Nov ballot, I will not be running.
