(sorry, we did not know that Capstone was not contracted to take photos this year. Museum LA hired Russ Dillingham PhotoGRAPHICS.member of Sun Media to cover the start & finish of the races. We did see Another member of the Sun Media there also but I think he was taking video & photos for the local newspaper.) This year we voted to step down from our coverage of the Pineland Trail Running Festival. The event will be taking care of their own coverage. Please not to fear as you will still be able to get free photos of this event. The source of the media will be a little different. See the following message from the event’s FB page:
We understand that Capstone Photography will be at the event once again. Cap$tone will have for $ale some great photos of the the event. Maine Running Photos will search for links of coverage of this event & share with you the many blog reports we find. Some of the Maine Running Photos volunteers have been rained out of the events today but watch for our posting for Sunday & Monday.

Reindeer Run 5k and Kids Mile! Saturday, Dec. 8 This race is a fundraiser for Maryam Norton, a Mt. Blue student who will be spending three months in Huaycan, Peru, next spring teaching English with the Light and Leadership Initiative. All of the money raised will go toward her living expenses in Peru. The races will be held at the West Farmington Whistle Stop Trail (Railroad Bed). Registration starts at 9 a.m. Kids Mile (15 and under) starts at 10 a.m. and costs $8 per runner. The 5K starts at 10:30 a.m. and costs $10 per runner. Kids running both races costs $9. Parents are allowed to run with their children in the mile, free of charge. All ages, abilities, and dogs are welcome! There will be homemade chocolate chip cookies at the finish line and Santa Claus will make an appearance during the kids mile! Have questions or want to make a donation for Maryam’s trip?
