Letter to the MPA from Robert Booker
Robert Booker Stated two days ago:
·
I just messaged the MPA with this statement. The coaches of the other 16 teams involved should have the guts to say the same thing. I place no guilt or shame on the boy involved, but I think his parents are perpetrating child abuse. “Consistent with its principles, the MPA believes that all students should have the opportunity to participate in MPA activities in a manner that is consistent with their gender identity, unless such participation would result in an unfair athletic advantage or would present an unacceptable risk of injury to other student athletes.” Your words not mine. Before the Western Maine Conference Invitational cross country meet on Oct 11 a male athlete from Maine Coast Waldorf should be forced to compete for his school’s boys team and not the girls team because he has an unfair advantage over the girls. If after being told this he chooses not to help his fellow male students, being the fastest among them, that choice is on him.

Where are the champions of Title 9? So proud of my Maine friends who stand up and speak for the girls who shouldn’t have to stand up while adults are not.
