Both David Colby Young & Don Penta recorded this event. David missed about 12 walkers/runners a he only recorded a few people after David Body. We are sure Don Penta did not miss anyone.

We are told that this race was first held on 12 Sept. 1999 at Falmouth High School. The race was then listed as 5K Run/Walk to Remember Dan Cardillo. The Timing service was 5K Sports. Jim McCorkle of 5K sports tells us the first race director was Jack Davis, He remembers 800+ runners/walkers at the first event. He was not sure if the second or third year the race committee may have hired Granite State because the race was so big. He said he was sorry that he did not have a copy of the race results but the newspapers may have published them. The current race director, Jeanne Hackett, was unable to give us any additional information on the 1999 and/or 2000 Cardillo 5K events. If any person has information on the 1999 and/or 2000 Dan Cardillo events please send data to this blog.
