Great views from Appleton Ridge. Nice out and back course with a tricky hill at Mile 1.5. Mile 1 was 6:16 (headwind). Held the lead to the turn and Amanada LaBelle took it from there (3rd at the MDI Marathon in 2008). She ran a good race. I finished with the men’s division title “ridge runner”. 20:02.
Ran the course prior, ran the race and a 30 minute cooldown – let’s say 9.5 in Appleton and a 2.2 mile walk in Stockton in the late afternoon.
