The 2015 Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run is in the books.
33 harder runners and 14 fearless walkers braved single digit temperatures to raise over $700.00 for the Aid for Kids Organization.
The race went smoothly and everyone appeared to have a great run as evidenced to the pics posted.
Thanks to Katahdin Trust for their continued support over these 31 years of sponsorship. Thanks to all the volunteers, the Hodgdon Hawks Seniors, and local businesses such as Hairworks, McDonalds, Sears, SW Collins, Sherwin Williams, Shop N Save, and others for their help. Special thanks the the Bank volunteers, Miss Sara Elizabeth, Sonya and of course Barb my wife for making this event the success it became.
Next year there will be a new co-race directors in Al and Nicole Hascom who have agreed to continue this running tradition in the County.
I have had a great time directing it our the years especially knowing that we have raises needed funds for many charities over the years.
Good luck to Al and Nicole.
Thanks to the Runners who without them the races we have in the County would not exist.
