5K Run/Walk for Wellness 2009 Results
(Lincoln, ME)—A total of 78 people participated in the 2nd annual 5k Run/Walk for Wellness on Sunday, July 19, sponsored by Penobscot Valley Hospital and S.P.R.I.N.T. for Life. The event was held as part of the Riverdriver’s Homecoming Festival in Lincoln, and it was a way for the hospital and its supporters to promote healthy lifestyles and good choices concerning exercise and wellness.
The course looped through 3.1. miles (5K) of Lincoln. Hannaford and Wal-Mart provided snacks and drinks for the event, and S.P.R.I.N.T. for Life donated the water for the runners and walkers.
