30 Miler Results
Ron Paquette 6:48:05
Mike Brooks 6:48:05
(It has been reported that 6 runners started the 30 mile event. One runner did not finish. Mike Brooks & Ron Paquette finished while the other runners were still on the course. As the people at the finish line was gone when Ron & Mike finished their last 4 miles, and having no place to report their time or get it recorded they were puzzled. There may have been a misunderstanding on just how the racing event planned to time the 30 mile challenge. If anyone has the names & times on the other three runners please share them with us. We have emailed the race committee for their statement but they have not answered us yet. We have no idea if other runners finished or not.)

Work was done to get the word out
The Lewiston Track Booster gave fliers to all the teams that they competed with in the 2009 Spring season. It is not at all clear if any entered this event. Below is the only two links we have found on the Net telling the public of this event. We have not seen anything yet in the newspaper but there has been post media coverage from www.mainerunningphotos.com
Yes, the video has nothing to do with Mike Brooks, but until we find out where he is and what the race results, this is something to file space & time while you wait.
Well, we have not heard from Mike yet. The web site states:
Not sure what the above means. Our guess is that there was a 7 hour limit and Mike Brooks finished but the timers were not present to give us a chip time.
